The New Book The Rite of Seven Degrees is Launched
The new book has finally been launched; The Rite of Seven Degrees is now published after a live online launch yesterday with a well attended joint event between the Masonic lecture platform Legere Aude and publishers Lewis Masonic. The book examines the late eighteenth century esoteric Masonic Rite, which was conducted by French Freemason Pierre Lambert de Lintot, and was based in London. The work explores the history and progression of the Rite, discusses the engravings of de Lintot, and presents a new English translation of the ritual.
The book is the third work in my ‘Lost Rites’ series, all published by Lewis Masonic, the first book The Lost Rites and Rituals of Freemasonry acting as a guide to the many rites that existed in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, while the following book, Rediscovered Rituals of English Freemasonry explores Richard Carlile and his early nineteenth century expose The Manual of Freemasonry. This connects directly with this new work on The Rite of Seven Degrees, and thus links the series together.
